Such a scene was seen at the Secretariat on Tuesday (May 27).
In the morning, only working officials and employees were allowed to enter in front of the Secretariat; no one else was able to enter. Even journalists were not allowed to enter. Law enforcement officials said that the decision regarding the entry of journalists will be announced after 12 noon.
Meanwhile, the Home Ministry had issued an order on Monday (May 26) night banning the entry of visitors, which came into effect this morning.
Government officials and employees have been protesting at the Secretariat for the past three days demanding the repeal of the Government Services (Amendment) Ordinance. The Secretariat is in turmoil every day due to the protests and the protests are scheduled to begin for the fourth day today.
