In a report on Sunday night (May 11), the Anadolu news agency reported that at least 26 Palestinians, including eight children, were killed in the latest Israeli drone and air strikes in the besieged Gaza Strip.


Two people were killed and several others were wounded in a drone strike on a group of civilians in the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah. Two more were killed in separate attacks in the same city.


At least nine people, including a man and his baby, two children and a young man, were killed in attacks on people sheltering in tents in different areas of the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.

Four more people, including two children, were killed in separate attacks in the al-Mawasi and Asda areas.


One child was killed and another seriously injured in shelling and gunfire in Abasan al-Kabira, Gaza City and Jabaliya in eastern Khan Yunis.


In addition, four people were killed in an airstrike targeting a car in Khan Younis and five others were killed in another attack in Gaza City, including a girl.


Several residential buildings were destroyed in an airstrike in the al-Tufah area of ​​Gaza City, and two people were injured in an attack on a mosque on Old Gaza Street.


Incidentally, after 15 months of continuous war, Israel agreed to a ceasefire on January 19 under international pressure, but resumed attacks in the third week of March due to disagreements over the withdrawal of troops from Gaza.
