Mumbai Police has taken quick steps to ensure Kapil Sharma's safety after the incident.

According to an NDTV report, Kapil Sharma had left the comedy show and started a restaurant business in Canada. But the situation there did not go in his favor from the beginning. He received threats just a week after opening the restaurant.

The report also said that the two gangs - Gurpeet Singh alias Goldie Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi - have claimed responsibility for the attack by posting on social media. They fired about 25 rounds at the cafe and published the video of the incident on Facebook.

In the viral video, a person can be heard saying, "We tried to contact the target, but there was no response. If they do not understand our message, the next attack will be in Mumbai."

Earlier, on July 10, around 1 am, the first shooting incident took place at Kapil Sharma's 'Caps Cafe'. At that time, Harjit Singh Laddi, who is associated with a pro-Khalistan organization, claimed responsibility for the attack.
