Al Jazeera reported on Monday (June 23) that the Israeli military (IDF) claimed responsibility for the attacks on six Iranian airports in a statement issued on X.

The IDF said in a statement that the attacks, carried out using remotely controlled and manned aerial vehicles, destroyed 15 Iranian aircraft and helicopters. The runways, underground bunkers, fuel transport aircraft and F-14, F-5 and AH-1 fighter jets associated with the Iranian regime were damaged.

The IDF also claimed that the attacks disrupted the ability to take off from Iranian airports and severely damaged Iran's ability to conduct military operations in the air.
