The Israeli military said Saturday (June 21) was a day of bad news for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). According to them, the newly appointed commander of the drone unit, Aminpour Jodkhi, was killed in an airstrike.
The Israeli military said that the air force's fighter jets carried out targeted strikes, resulting in the death of Aminpour Jodkhi. He was responsible for launching hundreds of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from southwestern Iran towards Israel.
Earlier, on June 13, Tahar Far, the commander of the IRGC's drone unit, was killed in an Israeli strike. Since his death, Jodkhi had been responsible for command operations.
Meanwhile, Iran has been blamed for the attack on Israel's media office. However, details have not yet been released.
