Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin made these remarks at a discussion meeting in Agargaon in the capital on Saturday (June 21) morning. He participated in the inauguration of a day-long training on election laws and rules.

When asked whether he would meet the government regarding the election date, the CEC said, there is no need to make any special arrangements to meet. Everything will be announced when the time comes. The government and the Election Commission are working in a state of awareness about each other's activities.

Regarding the election roadmap, he said, it is an action plan that they have already started. Like every office, the Election Commission also has a specific action plan and work is going on according to it.
