Another nuclear scientist has been killed in an Israeli drone strike in Iran. The scientist has been identified as Isser Tabatabei Kamsheh. Tehran's Sharif University confirmed the news in a statement on Saturday (June 21). BBC reported.
The statement said that Israel carried out a drone strike targeting Kamsheh while he was in his apartment in the capital Tehran on Thursday. Kamsheh and his wife Mansouriyeh Hajisalem were killed on the spot in the attack. Kamsheh was a former student at Sharif University.
Earlier, nine Iranian nuclear scientists were killed in an Israeli air strike in the early hours of June 13. At the same time, several senior commanders of the Iranian military were also targeted and killed.

The series of attacks has further heightened Iran-Israel tensions, which are feared to have a serious impact on the security situation in the Middle East.
