On Sunday (November 2) morning, a 7-member full appellate bench led by Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed completed the 6th day of hearing on the appeal regarding the review of the judgment annulling the 13th Amendment to the Constitution regarding the caretaker government system. At that time, BNP senior lawyer Zainul Abedin said that the verdict has started a political crisis in the country.

Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman was present on behalf of the state at the hearing.

Earlier, the 5th day of hearing on the appeal demanding the restoration of the caretaker government system ended on October 29. On August 27, permission was granted to appeal after hearing the appeal for the review of the judgment annulling the caretaker government system. After that, Dr. Badiul Alam Majumder, 5 individuals including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Professor Mia Golam Parwar filed an appeal.
