This information was given by Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) Chief Coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari after a meeting with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin at the Election Building on Sunday (November 2) afternoon.

He said that the party has sent a letter to the Election Commission (EC) to allocate Shapla Kali as its symbol.

Earlier, on Sunday (November 2) at around 3 pm, an NCP delegation went to the CEC office and formally applied for a new symbol. In this application, they requested to allocate Shapla Kali symbol among the three - Shapla, Sada Shapla and Shapla Kali.
