Speaking at a press conference at the BNP central office in Nayapaltan on Wednesday (June 11), Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the possible meeting of Dr. Muhammad Yunus and Tarique Rahman in London will have a positive impact on the country's politics. He described it as a "historic moment".

He said that BNP has highlighted the rationale for elections by December and hopes that the political crisis will be resolved through talks.

At the press conference, Rizvi strongly criticized India and said, "India has become hostile towards Bangladesh. Push-ins have increased at the border. Is Bangladesh a place to dump waste?" He also warned of building resistance in this regard.

He also expressed concern about the increase in corona infection and the dengue situation in the country and India. He said that the Health Ministry is unprepared. He also mentioned road accidents and deterioration of law and order during the Eid pilgrimage.

Rizvi alleged that the people have been deprived of the true joy of the festival due to the violence of anti-social elements and the indifference of the administration during Eid.
