In a report on June 14 (Saturday) midnight, the New York Times reported that Israel has launched a new attack on the Iranian capital Tehran. Iran is firing missiles through its air defense system to repel the attack, especially in the Pastur area. President Masoud Pezeshkian and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei are staying in that area.
Local residents said that defense missiles are being fired continuously to stop the Israeli missiles.
The day before, in the early hours of June 13, Israel carried out a massive attack, killing at least 20 senior commanders and several nuclear scientists, including Iranian Army Chief Mohammad Bagheri, IRGC Chief Hossein Salami. After that, the country's Supreme Leader Khamenei appointed a new IRGC chief, who took responsibility and gave a stern warning to Israel.
A few hours after this warning, Iran launched a counterattack called 'Operation True Promise-3'. In the first phase, they fired more than a hundred missiles, followed by two more missile attacks.
In response, Israel launched another attack on Iran. Immediately after the Iranian missile attack, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu took refuge in a bunker and planned the next attack with top security officials.
