On Sunday (July 6) afternoon, the victim's brother filed a case with the Tajumuddin police station. Earlier, the rape incident took place on June 10.

The accused in the case are Gias, son of Kalam Farazi, a resident of ward number 4 of Dakshin Chanchra village in Chanchra union of Tajumuddin upazila, and Russell, son of Alam Chowdhury.

The victim alleged that on June 10, her parents went on a trip to Nana's house. The victim was at her father's house with her son. When the victim left the house to go to the toilet at midnight that day, Gias, who was already lying down, forcibly raped her and Russell recorded a video of the rape. Later, whenever the woman left the house, they would make bad gestures at her. At the same time, they threatened to give her brother ganja and hand her over to the police if she did not voluntarily engage in immoral activities with them. The victim had kept the rape a secret for fear of her life, but she told her family about it yesterday.

The victim's brother and the plaintiff in the case said, Gias and Russell are our neighbors. On June 10, Gias raped my sister when her parents were not at home and Russell recorded the video. We could not find out because my sister kept the matter a secret for so long. We have filed a case with Tajumuddin Police Station demanding justice for them.

However, despite attempts to contact the accused in this incident, their statement could not be obtained.

When asked about this, Tajumuddin Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mohabbat Khan said, the victim's brother filed a case against Gias and Russell at the police station on charges of rape. He also said that efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
