BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that employment arrangements will be made for 10 million people within 18 months if it comes to power.

He made this promise in his opening speech at the 'Business Dialogue' program organized in Sylhet on Saturday (June 28) morning.

Amir Khasru said that if BNP comes to power, the information technology sector will be given utmost importance. He said, "Job opportunities will be created in the IT sector even for young people with a minimum SSC pass."

He also said, "Business must be kept free from the influence of politics, free from fascism. BNP will start working to develop business and trade from the first day after forming the government—there will be no delay for a moment."

Assuring cooperation in investment in the agricultural sector, Khasru said, "Environment will be created for those who want to invest in agriculture. BNP will also give importance to the export of agricultural products."

BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, former president Fazlul Haque, BNP Chairperson's advisor Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Sylhet District BNP President Abdul Qayyum Chowdhury and Metropolitan BNP Acting President Rezaul Hasan Kayes Lodi were present as special guests at the event.
