Among the many Hindi films released this year, Salman Khan's much-awaited film 'Sikandar' has been garnering a lot of attention. The film earned Rs 25 crore (net) on its first day, making it the second highest-grossing film on its first day. 'Chaaba' is at the top with a collection of Rs 29 crore (net). In two days, 'Sikandar' has collected Rs 54 crore worldwide, which is equivalent to around 76.66 crore taka in Bangladeshi currency.

Although the film's collection on the first day did not reach the expected level, the film's business is expected to increase due to the Eid holidays on Monday (March 31). However, online piracy has had a negative impact on the film's collection. Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed that the film has been leaked, saying, "I have spoken to seven-eight people from the film industry, they have confirmed that the film has been leaked."

Adding to the pressure is the fact that Salman Khan is yet to do a Rs 500 crore blockbuster in India, which many of his contemporaries have already achieved. Shah Rukh Khan has done Rs 1,000 crore business with his films 'Pathan' and 'Jawan'. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', Sunny Deol's 'Gadar 2', Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhapaak', and even 'Stree 2' have crossed the Rs 500 crore milestone in terms of domestic earnings.

'Sikandar' stars Salman Khan in the lead role, opposite Rashmika Mandanna, who is 31 years younger than him. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar and many others.

A lot still depends on the commercial future of 'Sikandar', especially in the post-Eid holidays. Audience enthusiasm and the response to the film will play a significant role in its earnings.
