The Israeli army continues its relentless attacks on the Palestinian Gaza Strip. At least 69 people were killed and 362 injured in Israeli airstrikes throughout the day on Monday (August 11), the Turkish news agency Anadolu reported.

The report also said that the total number of deaths in Gaza since the start of the Israeli operation, which has been going on for almost two years, has risen to 61,499. In addition, at least 153,575 Palestinians have been injured.

The Gaza Health Ministry said that only those who could be taken to hospitals were counted. Many bodies buried in the rubble and lying on the streets have not yet been recovered. It is feared that the death toll may increase due to the lack of necessary rescue equipment and the continuous bombardment by the Israeli army.

According to the ministry, 222 people have died of malnutrition and food shortages since the beginning of the ongoing invasion, 101 of whom are children. Five more people, including a child, died on Monday due to this.

Earlier, in November last year, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. In addition, a case is also pending against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on charges of genocide in Gaza.

Nevertheless, Israel's aggression has not stopped. The incident has continued to be condemned and protested around the world.
