In a statement, the coalition called for the strike to highlight the dire situation in Gaza and the increasing death toll due to Israeli attacks.
The statement said that the importance of uniting local and international efforts to end the war and the need to ensure accountability for Israeli war crimes and human rights violations against Palestinians in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 26 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours. As a result, the death toll in Gaza since the offensive began in October 2023 has risen to 50,695.
A statement from the Health Ministry also said that 113 wounded people were hospitalized in the past 24 hours. As a result, the number of wounded in the war has reached 115,338 so far.
In addition, many victims are reportedly trapped under the rubble and rescuers are unable to reach them.
