A ballistic missile fired by Yemen's Houthi rebels targeting Israel has landed in Saudi Arabia. The missile was launched at around 9pm local time on Wednesday (April 9), the *Times of Israel* reported.
The Israeli military detected the missile but did not sound any warning sirens because it was not a threat. It is not yet known where the missile hit Saudi Arabia.
Neither the Houthis nor Saudi Arabia have officially commented on the matter. However, the Houthi group has claimed that they carried out drone attacks against Israel.
It is worth noting that the Houthis have been attacking the Red Sea and Israel since the start of the Gaza war. The Times of Israel reports that the Houthis have fired more than 18 ballistic missiles at Israel since mid-March, most of which have been intercepted in mid-flight.
