The day after the fighter jet crashed at Milestone School and College in Diyabari, Uttara, the capital, on Tuesday (July 22), the institution's legal advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul and education advisor CR Abrar reached the campus at around 11 am. However, upon reaching there, they faced strong reactions from the students.

As soon as they saw the advisors, dozens of angry students surrounded them and started shouting slogans of "Fake, fake". Later, the advisors sat in a meeting with 5 students in a college building.

Earlier, hundreds of students started gathering in the roundabout in front of the main gate of the college from 10 am. At one stage, all sides became filled with processions and protests. The students, mourning the loss of lives and injuries in Monday's horrific plane crash, participated in a peaceful protest today, making 6-point demands.

The students' 6-point demands include:

> Revealing the correct names and information of the deceased.

> Full and accurate list of injured released.

> Unconditional apology for the incident of army personnel raising their hands on teachers.

> Appropriate compensation from the Air Force to the families of the deceased.

> Old and risky aircraft have been scrapped and modern aircraft have been introduced.

> Training methods and centers have been reformed and more humane and safe systems have been introduced.

Students participating in the protest said that although their movement is non-violent, they will continue the sit-in program until their demands are met. At the roundabout, students sat on the road holding placards reading 'We don't want justice, we want the body of a child' and 'We want an accurate account of the body'.
