On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, advance train ticket sales will start from May 21. This decision was taken at a meeting held at the Rail Bhaban under the chairmanship of Railway Director General Md. Afzal Hossain.

According to the meeting, tickets for May 31 will be sold on May 21. Then, tickets for June 1 will be sold in stages on May 22, June 2 on May 2, June 3 on May 24, June 4 on May 25, June 5 on May 26 and June 6 on May 27.

After Eid, the sale of return tickets will start from May 30. Tickets for June 9 will be available that day. Then, tickets for June 10 to 15 will be given in stages from May 31 to June 5.

For the convenience of passengers, train tickets for the western region will be issued from 8 am, and tickets for the eastern region will be available from 2 pm. All tickets for the Eid journey will have to be collected online.

The decision on the sale of tickets for June 7 and 8 will be announced later based on the sighting of the moon. According to religious regulations, the holy Eid-ul-Adha may be celebrated in the country on June 7 or 8.
