The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the new price of a 22-carat bhori of gold has been fixed at Tk 1,67,833.

This information was given in a notification signed by Masudur Rahman, Chairman of the BAJUS Price Determination and Monitoring Standing Committee, on Saturday (April 19). The new price will be effective from tomorrow, Sunday (April 20).

BAJUS said that the new price has been fixed considering the increase in the price of acidic gold in the local market and the overall market situation.

This price increase has led to mixed reactions among gold buyers. Many believe that the price may increase further.
