On Tuesday (June 10), meteorologist of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department Dr. Md. Omar Faruk said that a mild heat wave is blowing over 36 districts of the country, which may continue in the next 24 hours. Faridpur, Madaripur, Tangail, Chandpur, Feni, Patuakhali, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions are the most affected.
However, there is a tendency of rain in various divisions of the country from Wednesday (June 11) to Saturday (June 14). Many areas of Chittagong, Sylhet, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Rajshahi and Rangpur may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds. There may also be moderate to heavy rain in some places.
During this time, the country's day and night temperatures may decrease slightly. The Meteorological Office said that the tendency of rain will continue for the next five days and the temperature may gradually decrease further, which may bring relief to public life.
