A meeting of 8 political parties and organizations will be held with the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, on Sunday (May 25) afternoon at his official residence 'Jamuna'.

This information was revealed by the Chief Advisor's office on Saturday (May 24) afternoon. The relevant sources said that one representative from each of the political parties that have taken a stand in favor of a possible mass uprising in July has been invited to this meeting.

Meanwhile, a press release sent by the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh said that the party's Ameer and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim will participate in the meeting at Jamuna on Sunday at 5:45 pm.

Along with the Islamic Movement, top leaders of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis, Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Khilafat Majlis, Gana-Odhikar Parishad, Nezame Islami Party and Hefazat-e-Islam will also be present at the meeting.

At the meeting, political leaders will give their opinions on what the interim government should do regarding reforms, fair elections, and the prosecution of those involved in the authoritarian regime.
