The Bangladesh government will observe a state mourning on July 16 to mark the 'July Martyrs' Day'. On this occasion, a notification said that the national flag will be flown at half-mast in all government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings, educational institutions and Bangladesh missions abroad.
The notification also said that special prayers will be held in all mosques of the country to pray for the eternal peace of the martyrs. Special prayers will also be organized in other religious places of worship for the repose of their souls.
