A public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat ​​Ali said that in order to ensure public order and the security of the Chief Advisor, all types of meetings, gatherings, processions and processions have been banned in the Bangladesh Secretariat, the Chief Advisor's official residence Jamuna and surrounding areas—such as Hotel Intercontinental intersection, Kakrail Mosque intersection, Officers Club intersection and Mintu Road—from June 9 (Monday) until further notice.

This decision has been taken under Section 29 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, 1976.
