Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Advisor Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan spoke to reporters after a meeting with entrepreneurs on the gas crisis in the industrial sector at the Secretariat on Wednesday (May 7).
He said that the price of domestic gas is much lower than the price at which gas is being imported in the international market. Even so, the government has not taken any decision to increase the price of gas or electricity for the time being.
The advisor also said that this decision has been taken considering the public interest and the interests of the industrial sector.
