DMP said that the entire area has been kept under surveillance through CCTV cameras to prevent any banned party or group from creating chaos. More than 12,000 police personnel have been deployed, along with RAB and DB members.

Ramna Division DC Masud Alam said that sufficient police in uniform and civilian clothes are on the ground. The Traffic Division has determined parking and routes to control traffic.

DMP Additional Commissioner SM Nazrul Islam said that strict security has been ensured at all points in Dhaka. Another 8,000 police have been deployed at nearby police stations and outposts.

Wing Commander MZM Intekhab Chowdhury, Director of RAB's Media Wing, said that RAB patrols have been strengthened around the rally site, additional check posts have been set up. Intelligence surveillance is also underway.
