The request was made in a circular signed by Rezaul Karim Siddiqui, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Railways, on Sunday (June 8).
The circular said that the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has requested people to wear masks in public places due to the recent increase in the rate of Covid-19 infection in the country. Elderly and sick people in particular have been advised to avoid these areas.
In this context, the Ministry of Railways has urged all passengers to wear masks and follow hygiene rules during train journeys after Eid-ul-Azha.
