An important decision was taken at the meeting of the Advisory Council at the Office of the Chief Advisor on Thursday (July 24) regarding the plane crash.
The meeting said that special prayers and supplications will be organized in all mosques of the country after Friday prayers on Friday (July 25) for the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased and the speedy recovery of the injured in the incident of the Bangladesh Air Force training plane crash at Milestone School and College, which claimed the lives of many including students and teachers. On this occasion, the Islamic Foundation has requested all the khatibs, imams and mosque committees of the country to take necessary measures.
Three decisions were taken in the meeting:
1. Accepting a condolence proposal and observing a minute of silence in memory of those who died in the accident.
2. Providing government assistance for the treatment of the families of the deceased and the injured.
3. Decision to give state honors to the two deceased teachers of the school, the details of which will be decided soon.
In addition, it was said that the Ministry of Education will discuss with the school authorities and decide on the next steps.
