BNP is not satisfied with the meeting with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Participating in a two-hour discussion at the Jamuna State Guest House on Wednesday (April 16), the party's Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, "He (the Chief Advisor) did not give any specific election deadline. We have clearly said that if the election is not held by December, the situation will deteriorate further."

On the other hand, after the meeting, Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said, "The Chief Advisor's word on the election is final. The election will be held between December and June, it will not go beyond June."

A seven-member BNP delegation participated in the meeting, which included Mirza Fakhrul and senior leaders of the Standing Committee.
