So far, 47,420 pilgrims from Bangladesh have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the purpose of performing the holy Hajj this year.
This information was revealed in the bulletin published on the Hajj Portal on Friday, May 16. The information was confirmed by the Help Desk, which collected it from various sources in airlines, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB),
Bangladesh Hajj Office Dhaka and Saudi Arabia. The Help Desk said that 119 Hajj flights have been operated so far. Of these, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has operated 59, Saudi Airlines 40 and Flynas Airlines 20 flights. In these flights, 4,583 people have reached Saudi Arabia under government management and 42,837 under private management. In all, a total of 86,678 Hajj visas have been issued so far.
