Adnan Habibur Rahman, the central general secretary of the Third Class Employees Council, confirmed this information on Tuesday (October 21) morning.

As part of the ongoing program, teachers will hold a sit-in program at Shahbagh in the capital at 12 noon today (October 21). The protesters said that if the demands are not met and a notification is not issued by October 22, a stricter program will be given.

Incidentally, at the beginning of the movement, the teachers took a stand in front of the National Press Club on October 12. Later, they changed their location due to police obstruction and went to Shaheed Minar. There has been a continuous strike in all private educational institutions since October 14 due to the incidents of lathicharge, water cannon and sound grenades there.

The teachers and employees are then continuing various programs including a long march towards the Press Club, Shaheed Minar, and the Secretariat and a blockade of Shahbagh.
