Unprofessional News is More Widespread on News-Based Channels

In the first six months of the year, 13 television stations made it to the top five in spreading false or misleading information, with seven of them being news-based stations. The remaining are mixed-content channels. Notably, two stations share ownership under the same company._x000D_ _x000D_ Among the seven news-based channels, Somoy TV and Ekattor TV, which gained notoriety as political propaganda stations during the previous government, have been accused of spreading numerous false, fabricated, and misleading information. In fact, Somoy TV was more active in this practice than Ekattor TV.
